About AgileTactix
Independent enterprise agile consulting from a practitioner who builds systems that keep delivering after the engagement ends

Hi, I'm Danny
I've spent 15+ years inside Fortune 500 delivery organizations across insurance, banking, and pharma. Not advising from a deck. Embedded in the instance, on the delivery floor, building governance and automation your team owns and maintains. AgileTactix is my independent consultancy, focused on one thing: making enterprise Jira environments clean, governed, and ready for what leadership and AI are about to ask of them.
Why flow and automation actually matter
Before I built delivery systems, I ran incident management. Severity 1 and Severity 2 outages. All-night bridge calls with exhausted engineers. Root cause analysis the next morning on three hours of sleep. Weekdays and weekends, year after year.
That work changed how I see agile permanently. Flow is not a philosophy. Flow is what keeps a release from turning into a 2am page. So when I talk about automation flows that catch stalled work before it blocks a release, I am describing something I have felt the cost of. Governance that only lives in a slide deck does not hold at 2am. Governance built into the system does.
What I actually build
The through-line of my work is systems that hold up under enterprise pressure. Shared workflow schemas that survive the next reorg. Field standards that make two portfolios finally agree on what a metric means. Automation flows that surface risk before it reaches leadership as a surprise. An AI agent layer that reports portfolio health without anyone compiling a deck.
These are proof of what a delivery organization is capable of building. They deliver quality and consistency, and they keep running whether I am in the room or not. That is the point of the work: to leave a team stronger than I found it, holding a system they own and understand.
When a Fortune 500 role once ended in a restructuring, the market re-validated the work in 14 days. The systems I had built in every role were the reason. I mention it once, because it is the clearest evidence I have that building beats narrating, and then I move on.
Teaching keeps the work honest
Alongside the consulting, I have trained more than 13,000 professionals on Jira mastery and delivery systems. Teaching is not a side project. It is a forcing function. You cannot walk 13,000 people through a governance model you only half understand, so the teaching keeps the practice sharp and the practice keeps the teaching real.
Independent, by design
I don't resell licenses. I don't take implementation commissions. I am not an Atlassian Solution Partner working a quota.
That means when I assess your environment, the recommendation is the product. If the honest answer is that your foundation is not ready for the tooling you are about to buy, you will hear it, because nothing else is riding on the answer.
