Enterprise Consulting

Consulting built around one question: is your foundation ready?

Three ways to work together, starting with a fixed-scope audit of your Jira environment. No licenses to sell, no implementation commissions, no product riding on the recommendation.

Why independence matters here

Most enterprise Atlassian help comes from resellers and Solution Partners. Their advice is real, but there is always a license or an implementation attached to it. I sell neither. I don't earn a commission on the tooling you buy, and I am not angling to land a six-month build. If the audit finds your foundation is already solid and you don't need me, that is a valid and common outcome. The recommendation is the product.

Three engagements, one starting point

Most work begins with the audit. Remediation and advisory follow only if the findings say they should.

Flagship

Jira Governance Audit

Fixed scope. Two to three weeks.

A structured assessment of your Jira environment that tells leadership, in plain language, where the foundation is solid and where it is quietly costing time, money, and credibility.

What gets assessed

  • Instance architecture: one system, or several wearing a trench coat
  • Workflow standardization across teams and portfolios
  • Field hygiene and whether metrics mean the same thing everywhere
  • Automation gaps, including stalled-work detection
  • Portfolio visibility: how leadership actually gets status
  • AI readiness: would today's data foundation support it

Jira is usually the center of gravity, but enterprise delivery never lives in one tool. The audit follows the data wherever it actually flows: Power BI, Microsoft 365, the Excel sheets teams still run on, vendor platforms. A portfolio view is only as trustworthy as the integrations feeding it.

What you get

A written report with prioritized recommendations, ranked by what each gap costs at scale, plus a live walkthrough with you and your team. No slideware theater. A document you can act on and forward.

Start with the readiness assessment, then come to the scoping call with your results.

Foundation Remediation

The audit's recommendations, built.

Where the report becomes a governed system. I embed with your team to implement the fixes in your instance and train your people to own them.

What gets built

  • A shared workflow schema and field standards that survive the next reorg
  • Automation flows that catch stalled work before it blocks a release
  • A reporting layer that gives leadership one source of truth, updated continuously
  • Documentation and runbooks so your team owns and maintains everything

Enterprise Readiness Advisory

Fractional and ongoing.

A steady hand on governance as you scale. For organizations that have the foundation and want to keep it from drifting back.

What it covers

  • A standing review of new teams and projects as they onboard, so governance does not erode
  • Evaluation of configuration change requests against the shared schema
  • An independent read on tooling decisions before the money is committed

Not sure where to start?

The readiness assessment is a self-serve version of the audit's first pass. Score your environment across six dimensions in about ten minutes, then decide whether a conversation makes sense.

Take the readiness assessment

How does an engagement actually run?

1

Discovery call

Thirty minutes to understand your environment, your portfolios, and what leadership keeps asking for that nobody can answer cleanly. I will tell you honestly whether an audit is worth your time.

2

The audit

Two to three weeks of structured assessment across the six dimensions, ending in a written report and a walkthrough. This is the decision point. You will know exactly what is worth fixing and in what order.

3

Remediation, if it is warranted

If the findings justify it, I embed with your team to build the fixes in your instance: the schema, the field standards, the automation flows, and the reporting layer. Training and documentation are built into the work, not bolted on at the end.

4

Handoff and, optionally, advisory

Full knowledge transfer so your team owns and maintains what we built. If you want a standing hand on governance as you scale, advisory continues. If you don't, you have everything you need to run it yourselves.
